As a Brand Sales Specialist for Power Portfolio, you will apply your sales and product expertise to close business for IBM, often in conjunction with Business Partners. You will match IBM solutions to client requirements and sell IBM offerings directly to clients or through IBM Business Partners.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Develop and Maintain Expertise: Develop and maintain expertise in a designated set of IBM offerings to effectively match solutions to client requirements and drive sales.
• Sell IBM Offerings: Sell IBM Power Systems line of offerings directly to clients or through IBM Business Partners, applying sales and product expertise to close business.
• Understand Competition: Understand competition and develop appropriate winning sales strategies to stay ahead in the market.
• Collaborate with Business Partners: Work with Business Partners to identify and pursue sales opportunities, leveraging each other's strengths to drive success.
• Match Solutions to Client Needs: Match IBM solutions to client requirements, ensuring that clients receive the best possible solutions to meet their needs.
• Product Expertise: Experience with IBM Power Systems line of offerings, including in-depth knowledge of features, benefits, and applications.
• Sales Acumen: Experience with sales principles and practices, including identifying client needs, developing sales strategies, and closing deals.
• Competitive Analysis: Experience with analyzing competition and developing effective sales strategies to stay ahead in the market.
• Solution Selling: Experience with matching solutions to client requirements, ensuring that clients receive the best possible solutions to meet their needs.
• Partner Collaboration: Experience working with Business Partners to identify and pursue sales opportunities, leveraging each other's strengths to drive success.
• Exposure to Industry Trends: Familiarity with current industry trends and developments in the Power Systems market, enabling informed sales strategies and effective competition analysis.
• Additional IBM Offerings Knowledge: Exposure to other IBM offerings beyond Power Systems, allowing for a broader understanding of the IBM portfolio and potential cross-selling opportunities.
• Advanced Sales Techniques: Experience with advanced sales techniques, such as negotiation and persuasion, to enhance sales performance and drive business growth.
