In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Package Consultant specializing in Billing & Digital Subscription, you will implement and optimize cloud-based billing and subscription management solutions that support recurring revenue models, digital monetization strategies, and customer lifecycle automation. You will work closely with finance, product, IT, and customer success teams to ensure that the selected billing solution aligns with business goals, regulatory requirements, and customer experience expectations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Configure Subscription Products: Design and configure subscription products, pricing tiers, billing cycles, and revenue recognition rules to meet business requirements and customer needs.
  • Integrate Billing Platforms: Integrate the billing platform with CRM, ERP, payment gateways, and customer portals to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the billing solution aligns with business goals, regulatory requirements, and customer experience expectations.
  • Optimize Solution Delivery: Implement and optimize cloud-based billing and subscription management solutions to support recurring revenue models and digital monetization strategies.
  • Manage Complex Pricing Models: Configure and deploy packaged platforms that enable organizations to manage complex pricing models, usage-based billing, invoicing, and subscription lifecycle events with precision and scalability.

  • Cloud-Based Billing Solutions: Experience with implementing and optimizing cloud-based billing and subscription management solutions that support recurring revenue models and digital monetization strategies.
  • Subscription Business Models: Deep understanding of subscription business models (SaaS, DaaS, PaaS), including billing operations and digital commerce ecosystems.
  • Billing Platform Integration: Experience integrating billing platforms with CRM, ERP, payment gateways, and customer portals to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
  • Complex Pricing Models: Experience configuring and deploying packaged platforms that enable organizations to manage complex pricing models, usage-based billing, invoicing, and subscription lifecycle events.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Experience ensuring billing solutions align with regulatory requirements and customer experience expectations in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Advanced Cloud-Based Solutions: Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure, and their application in billing and subscription management solutions.
  • Digital Commerce Ecosystems: Experience in digital commerce ecosystems, including payment gateways, and customer portals, and their integration with billing platforms.
  • Complex Pricing Strategies: Experience with complex pricing models, including usage-based billing, and invoicing, and their deployment in packaged platforms.
