Your role and responsibilities

As an Automation solution architect at IBM, you would be responsible for identifying and deploying Automation solutions and services for client business processes and for planning and managing the deployment of automation projects, ensuring project objectives are delivered as per client requirements.

Your primary responsibilities include:

· Experience in process analysis, design, and identification of automation opportunities.

· Facilitate workshops with the business operations and functional teams to understand the end to end to end processes.

· Work with business teams to simplify and improve operations by analysing processes and creating end-to-end automation solution designs.

· Prepare a business case for the identified automation solution and present it to key stakeholders for approval to initiate development.

· Lead the implementation of the automation projects by providing business requirements to the developers and ensuring that the process requirements are translated into Automation functionalities.

· Responsible for monitoring and managing the successful implementation of automation projects.

· Accountable for end-to-end Automation project management along with project identification and change management.

· Provide status to key stakeholders on project progress and call out project risks and mitigation plans.

Required technical and professional expertise

· 9+ years of overall experience.

· Experience in handling large-scale enterprise-wide automation projects using Blueprism, UI Path, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, etc.

· Experience in design and successful establishment of Shared Services operations within complex global organizations or demonstrable consulting experience with exposure to successful sales pursuits.

· Energy, drive, and resilience to overcome challenges in various contexts.

· Knowledge and experience in driving a performance-based culture in F&A.

· Cross-functional knowledge of finance processes, e.g., O2C, R2A, P2P.

Preferred technical and professional experience

· Ability to bring market and leading practice insights in F&A operations.

· Preferred resources from ITES/BPO/KPO or Consulting industry with F&A Transformation experience.

· A passion and deep interest in automation/ new technologies.
