As a Security Consultant, you will be a key advisor for IBM’s clients, analyzing business requirements to design and implement the best security solutions for their needs. You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client’s organization with the cognitive solutions that are making IBM the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.

Your Role and Responsibilities
The IT Manager is responsible for the operational functionality of the site, managing IA and systems engineering staff, and ensuring the security and compliance of our information systems. This includes maintaining and reporting IS assessment and authorization status, providing direction to the ISSO, and coordinating with the FSO to ensure issues affecting the organization’s overall security are addressed appropriately.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of strong leadership, with experience managing and leading teams of IA professionals and serving as an ISSM. They will develop and maintain a system-level cybersecurity program, ensuring compliance with NIST SP 800-53 RMF and NISPOM, and staying up to date with the latest regulations and best practices.

In addition, the IT Manager will be responsible for maintaining a complex computing environment with high levels of uptime, ensuring the availability and reliability of critical systems and infrastructure. Experience with ITIL frameworks and best practices is preferred, as is a strong understanding of IT service management principles.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • DoD 8570 IAM II certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent preferred)
  • Proven experience as an IT Manager and Information System Security Manager (ISSM)
  • In-depth knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 RMF and NISPOM regulations and guidelines
  • Excellent understanding of cybersecurity architecture, requirements, objectives, and policies
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET clearance
  • Red Hat and networking skills


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience in managing IT systems in a microelectronics design and manufacturing environment
    Knowledge of the microelectronics industry and experience with MES and EDA tools
