In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting FutureNow Centers, where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As an Industry Consultant for Healthcare and Life Sciences, you will play a crucial role in supporting organizations within this sector. This role involves working with healthcare and life sciences organizations to address specific needs, including regulatory compliance, patient care innovation, and research enablement, which may involve collaboration and solution delivery.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Regulatory Support: Providing guidance on regulatory compliance to healthcare and life sciences organizations to ensure they meet necessary standards.

• Innovation Enablement: Helping organizations innovate in patient care and research through strategic advice and support.

• Research Enablement: Assisting healthcare and life sciences organizations in enabling research, potentially through compliance and innovation strategies.

Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred education
Master's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise

• Regulatory Compliance: Experience with guiding healthcare and life sciences organizations on regulatory requirements to ensure standards are met. This includes providing expert advice on compliance matters and supporting organizations in navigating complex regulatory environments.

• Patient Care Innovation: Experience in helping organizations innovate in patient care through strategic advice and support, driving improvements in healthcare delivery and outcomes.

• Research Enablement: Experience in assisting healthcare and life sciences organizations in enabling research, potentially through compliance and innovation strategies, to advance medical knowledge and treatments.

• Healthcare Industry: Experience working with healthcare and life sciences organizations to address specific needs and deliver solutions, including collaboration and support.

• Life Sciences Support: Experience in supporting life sciences organizations with regulatory compliance, innovation, and research enablement to drive business growth and improvement.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Technical Knowledge: Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks

• Industry Insights: Understanding of patient care innovation

• Research Strategies: Familiarity with research enablement methods
