About Design Team of IBM Consulting Taiwan

At IBM Design Team, we combine craft, technology, and product thinking to create thoughtful digital products and experiences at scale. As a centralized team working across clients and industries, we help organizations identify new opportunities, define experience strategies, and design solutions that respond to complex user, business, and technical needs. Much of our work happens in fast-evolving environments, where ambiguity is part of the process and speed matters as much as precision. We collaborate closely with engineers, system analysts, and stakeholders across organizations to bring ideas from concept to execution—always balancing innovation, usability, and quality in the experiences we create.

Your role and responsibilities
  • Design end-to-end digital experiences through user flows, wireframes, visual design mockups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and clients to turn user, business, and technical requirements into clear experience strategies and effective design solutions.
  • Conduct user research and apply insights to guide design decisions across discovery, concept development, and delivery.
  • Lead or contribute to client presentations and workshops, creating compelling design artifacts to communicate concepts and articulate design rationale persuasively.
  • Balance speed, adaptability, and craft while delivering high-quality work across complex, fast-moving project environments.

What We’re Looking For
  • You move fast and make ideas tangible. You’re comfortable turning complexity into clear outputs quickly and using feedback to refine your work as projects evolve.
  • You’re comfortable working in ambiguity. You can navigate shifting requirements, multiple stakeholder perspectives, and complex business contexts while bringing structure and clarity to the design process.
  • You embrace emerging technology with curiosity. You stay aware of how digital capabilities are evolving and look for practical ways to apply new technologies to improve your work and the experiences you create.
  • You bring a high standard of craft. You care deeply about quality, usability, and detail, while balancing speed and adaptability in fast-moving project environments.
You May Be a Good Fit If You Have
  • Experience designing complex digital products, large-scale consumer applications, or working in a consulting environment is a plus.

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design thinking, polished UI craft, and the ability to solve complex experience challenges.

  • Proven ability to lead end-to-end design work across large-scale or ambiguous projects.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and clearly articulate design rationale.
  • Experience creating prototypes to communicate ideas and test concepts; familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
