There is an immediate need for 2 full-time temporary positions located in Sturgeon Lake, Blood Tribe, or High Level in Alberta.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions at this group and level with various language requirements (English Essential or Bilingual Imperative), various security requirements, various conditions of employment as well as various tenures (acting, assignment/secondment, deployment, term and/or indeterminate) within Indigenous Services Canada.

Education:
• Dental Therapist: Successful completion of a dental therapy program recognized by the Saskatchewan Dental Therapists Council
OR
• Dental Hygienist: Successful completion of a dental hygiene program recognized by the Alberta College of Dental Hygienists
Occupational Certification:
• Dental Hygienist: Valid Practice Permit from the Alberta College of Dental Hygienists – OR – Eligibility for registration as a Dental Hygienist with the Alberta College of Dental Hygienists.
OR
• Dental Therapist: Valid License with the Saskatchewan Dental Therapists Association – OR – Eligibility for registration as a Dental Therapist with the Saskatchewan Dental Therapists Association.
Experience:
• Experience working as a Dental Therapist or Dental Hygienist.

ORGANIZATIONAL NEEDS:

During the application or assessment process, cheating, plagiarism and the use of artificial intelligence are considered forms of misconduct and are not permitted. Any person found cheating, including those who help others to cheat, will be subject to removal from the selection process.
Preference will be given to veterans first and then to Canadian citizens and permanent residents, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
