Description

Join the world class safety culture at Amazon Web Services (AWS). We are looking for a motivated Health and Safety Auditor to drive safety compliance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across our Infrastructure Services.

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.

The ideal candidate will have strong auditing expertise, including excellent written and verbal communications skills, the ability to influence stakeholders, solid knowledge foundation in safety management systems and regional safety standards. The candidate must have the ability to define clear requirements in ambiguity, proactively educate team members, leaders, and other support teams, and communicate effectively and consistently throughout all levels of the business. The role will evolve with the maturity and growth of the H&S Audit Program, requires a high degree of flexibility, and the candidate must have the ability to build partnerships with diverse teams across multiple jurisdictions.

You’ll join a diverse team and play a critical role in upholding AWS’s commitment to maintaining world-class safety standards. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.
