Position: Product Manager II
Location: Bellevue, WA

Multiple Positions Available:

1. Build metrics to help business teams make decisions; participate in the full development life cycle end-to-end: from design, implementation and testing, to documentation, delivery, support, and maintenance to produce comprehensive, usable dataset documentation and metadata
2. Develop complex queries for ad hoc requests and projects, as well as ongoing reporting.
3. Interface directly with stakeholders, gathering requirements and owning automated end-to-end reporting solutions.
4. Partner with analysts, data engineers, business intelligence engineers, and software development engineers across Amazon to produce complete data solutions and drive critical data decisions.
5. Simplify and automate reporting, audits, and other data-driven activities; build solutions to have maximum scale and self-service ability by stakeholders
6. Retrieve and analyze data using SQL. Learn and understand a broad range of Amazon’s data resources and know how, when, and which to use.
7. Estimate models, write analyses, and extract insights and provide business recommendations.
8. Lead research initiatives, both internally and externally, creating workflows that inform the team’s product and services roadmap, tackling complex business challenges.
9. Work across global lines of business to audit existing reporting needs, propose and align stakeholders on a common reporting scheme; design, build and deploy the common reporting platform.
10. Standardize key global reporting metrics, normalizing them to enable comparison between programs, regions, lines of business.
11. Partner with program and product teams to standardize how new program are tested, ensuring the correct instrumentation is in place, and enforcing appropriate rigor around statistical analyses and data-driven launch criteria are pursued.
12. Domestic or international travel up to 20% per quarter to perform role responsibilities may be required.
