Amazon is a fast paced, dynamic, high-tech company. The LATAM Accounting organization supports our financial reporting, controllership, internal controls, and also supports new business launches for Amazon in the region.

We are currently looking for a manager level candidate to support the business growth in Amazon’s Sao Paulo, Brazil office. Successful candidates may have held manager accounting or finance positions in public or private companies and demonstrated experience in leading teams to accomplish complex challenges.

Key job responsibilities
- Manage the period-end close process by ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all lease accounting entries and reconciliations.
- Manage key projects life cycle events
- Perform analytical review of related balances and provide balance sheet account movements to support cash flow reporting
- Drive projects, provide accounting guidance and often serve as first point of contact for finance and business partners to resolve issues.
- Ensure effective collaboration and influence across multiple organizations with partner teams and stakeholders.
