As a PMT III in Autonomous Security, you will drive the strategic vision and roadmap for a transformational multi-agent, AI-based autonomous security framework. You will work in partnership with engineering teams and customers to develop a new security product. This includes both core security framework and an extensible developer ecosystem, working closely with engineering teams to make the right architecture trade-offs and technical decisions.
In this role, your first challenge will be creating the product plan for the core agentic framework by soliciting customer use cases and requirements. You will own the user experience, define features, develop business and technology strategy, and align stakeholders while handling complex product development scenarios. You'll drive effective product discussions with executives and distill clear requirements from diverse technical customers, partners, vendors, and engineering teams. Working closely with engineering, science, and security teams, you'll drive requirements and implementation of autonomous security capabilities that safeguard Amazon's infrastructure, customers, and innovations.
Since our systems are foundational to the Amazon ecosystem, you will interact with various Amazon businesses including Amazon Stores, Prime, Digital, Alexa, and AWS. You'll anticipate project risks, determine mitigations, and transparently communicate those risks while driving projects through completion with measurable results.
Autonomous Security is a bold new team, purpose-built to think big and move fast to solve evolving security challenges in new ways. We seek those ready to take on a lead role in creating products that transform how we approach security across one of the largest and most diverse companies in the world.
Key job responsibilities
- Build and influence strategy and roadmap: Identify customer needs, technology/industry trends, challenges, use cases, trends, and related services to help build a roadmap of studies to evaluate and improve customer experience.
- Feature design for the product: Provide direction to engineering organizations, collecting and documenting BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), Low-fidelity prototyping and user feedback, supporting dev teams with requirement clarification.
- Manage ambiguity: Independently take steps necessary to understand complex technologies and customer use cases across a variety of customer personas and product categories to produce meaningful insights that drive improved customer experience.
- Lead large and complex studies: Design and build proof of concept experiments based on common customer use cases to evaluate the end-to-end customer experience. Own the full study lifecycle, including scoping, design, data collection and analysis, and presenting a comprehensive written narrative of insights and recommendations to senior leadership to drive improvements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders: Work with internal technical stakeholders (e.g., technical product managers, software developers, solution architects, business intelligence teams) to execute studies and work cross-functionally with peers/colleagues globally to support training, best practices, and shared opportunities.
- Focus on customers: Stay connected to customer trends, needs, and pain points in the cloud space. Collaborate with customer researchers to deliver customer insights that identify and drive customer experience improvements.
